Ok I have money to spend as a graduation present, so I say to myself why not spend it on my car?

My car specs(request additional information as needed)

Body Mileage: 140,000
Engine Mileage: 75,000
Transmission Mileage: 140,000
Engine: 3.4L 6 cylinder
T-Tops
Currently has a bra on it

So heres the deal, my family is giving me a total of $6,000 to spend any way I want. I bought the car 2 years ago and had a few problems here and there(mostly with the tires because they have low treadwear). I don't want to spend all the money on my car though just about $3,000 - $3,500 or get the biggest bang for my buck. I would like a lot of recommendations on what I could do to make it a car that will last the next few years of my life without a problem because I absolutely love camaros! :)

Here is what I would like to see done to it so far:
Leather seats - Estimated around $750 ( hopefully cheaper on ebay =/ )
Dual Exhaust - $240
Tail Lights - $100 -150
Good Brakes - Need reccomendations for this
Tires and Rims - I would like 16x8 rims and tires that can go the miles, need reccomendations please. Nothing too flashy, I just want good mileage on my tires because right now I have 18x8 rims on there and I hate how it rides also.
Suspension - Not really sure what it all does, but if it makes my steering wheel stay tight, then yes.
Black Stripe Decals - I would like these down the center
Interior Modification - I need floor mats, I threw my old ones away because they were nasty. I can probably get those premium carpet ones at wal*mart pretty cheap. I would like to have a shiny red interior kind of look around some things, for example around the unlock and up/down window controls. I really need help with this, I want the inside of my car to look spiffy as can be. So need some interior modfications on how to make my car look unique on the inside.
Sound System - The most ill pay for subs, amp, and speakers is probably around $550
Engine - I would like the engine to run nice with no noises what so ever. The engine I first had in it blew a head gasket cause some idiot poured too much stop leak into it. It has a new radiator that was put in around a year ago. I just want my engine to run nice and cool and not exactly sure what I can put in there to make it run cool and stay cool, maybe a new fan or fan timer? No idea need big reccomendations on how to make the engine run a lot better and last a long time.

Thanks for reading through all my wished for my car I really hope it works out for me. Thanks a ton on advance. I will be checking back every now and then, probably around twice a day to answer any questions about what else I want done. Once again thanks a lot! Any cool mods that you think could be added to this car would be great. Its mostly all stock!

You may want to check out this site and some links associated with it. They have lots of ideas along the lines that you are asking about. This site is dedicated mostly to first gen camaro's. We love all camaro's though! Good luck with your project! Kevin

Unless Your very attached to Your present Car I would consider buying a 4th Gen Z28 You can pick up a nice LT1 Model for anywhere from 3 to 5K some of the SS models bring alot more or a Z28 if they are very low mileage in great shape ones bring more.
