Anyone ever ran into this problem. The minute I turn a blinker on it kills the engine. My guess I might be grounding out the coil. The only wire that has changed since my new engine went in is having to run the wire from my MSD Distributor to the IGN plug in the fuse box. Im going to get a test light and check this theory out but I thought Id check to see if anyone else has encounted this before to help save me some troubleshooting time.

Thanks.

Interesting problem. I suspect either power is being disrupted from the ignition circuit or the lamp circuit is ground out somewhere causing a voltage droop. Bad connections (like a corroded firewall spade, or bad fender ground) can cause all sorts of weird problems like this. You might search the electrical forum for the phase "voltage drop". I've explained a procedure of finding bad connections so many times I've got carple tunnel syndrome. It may help you...and the engine doesn't have to be running to use it.

That would be ideal in Aussie....driving across the Nulabour.
