Hey Everyone,

It's time for me to pull the subframe and start the powder coating but I am wondering how to pull the subframe and support the body while I do this without ruining the brand new paint on the underside...?

Any insights on this?

Jack stands and a bunch of rags!

Any specific place I should put the stands? Sounds scary. How heavy is just the body anyway?

There are heavy brackets that are spot welded to the unibody, near where the lowest front fender bolts are. They're a little rearward and outboard of the front subframe bushings. They'll both have a ~5/8" diameter drain hole in them.
Those brackets are about 1/8" thick and will easily support the front of the car.

jackstands under the pinchweld where the firewall gets welded to the rocker panels. this is about the strongest point on the car, and is a factory approved lift point. there are matching jack points right by the front mounting points for the rear springs.
just be aware that if you have a rear end in the car and use the rear of the rocker panel, the car will want to do a "wheelie" and fall backwards. just put the rear stands under the axle, and you are good.
