How many different widths are there? I know the 69 is wider than the 67-68. I've heard stories about the "shorty" spoiler on a 69 is that just a 67-68 or an early 69 that measures somewhere between the two? The reason I'm asking is I bought a spoiler with some other parts and it is too wide for my 68 and too narrow for my 69. It looks just like other factory spoliers I have so I don't think it an aftermarket. Any spoiler experts?

thanks

As far as I know there are only 2 camaro spoilers. (Not counting the raised ones that were on the Bladwin Motion Camaros, the ones that look like a challenger or cuda.) The 67-68 received a "shorter" style while the 69's got a longer one.
Also, some early model 1969 Camaro's did received the "shorter" spoiler. My 69 has a shorter spoiler. Hope that this helps.

My 69 also has shorty spoiler-it's an 11D car and it's my understanding that the short spoiler was on the early built 69's. Tom.

There is no such thing as a 67 spoiler. These were over the counter only. 68 length spoilers were used up to about March of 69. There is a definate overlap period in the February and March time frame when both lengths were being used as the shorter ones in stock were being used up. The only cars built during Febraury and March that consistantly have the long spoilers are the Pace Cars. None has ever been found that had a short spoiler. Some Z28's and Copo's have short spoilers some have long.

Any chance that what you have is a 1 piece 2nd gen spoiler?
