Hello guys! I just recently bought a 1979 camaro to learn and restore it the way it should be. I am just learning but doesn't have a manual for it so I wanted to ask you guys if you can help me out with my question. My left tail light bulb went out so I checked in the trunk to see how I could get in there to change it but it's all metal and cannot get to the tail lights. I was thinking that I would have to remove the outer light cover in order for me to change them but I wasn't too sure if this is really the right way to do it. This might sound like a stupid question but I just wanted to ask around if this is how it should be done. Thanks in advance for your help!

The bulbs in my 77, which has a different taillight setup then the 79, are easily accessible from the trunk. Are there big plastic wing nut looking things in the trunk? I bet it is like the 3rd gens, you unscrew the nuts, remove the housing and change the bulbs. DON’T PRY THE LENS.

Remember www.nastyz28.com for all your 2nd gen needs….

Go buy a manual. Worth every $$.
