Need to remove my engine and trans to do a trans swap out and would like to know if in order to remove the front end nose body assy all together would I need to remove the hood so that the rear section of the fenders will clear the sides of the fire walls or will it clear with the hood installed? thanks :confused: Steve

You don't need to remove any more sheet metal than the hood to remove the tranny and engine. You can either remove the tranny from underneath the car and then the engine, or remove both together from the engine bay. Don't make things more difficult than they already are.
