View Full Version : Purple starter wire...where does it mount? dschribs May 25th, 07, 01:53 PM I got a new engine wiring harness from Rick's. The purple (and yellow which I don't need) wire has a metal eye terminal wrapped into the wiring harness that obviously mounts to the engine block somewhere. Probably to hold the wire away from the exhaust manifold. Can any one tell me the correct place to fasten this "eye" terminal to? Thanks!! JimM May 25th, 07, 01:56 PM big eye right? The only problem with that is the eye terminal looks too big for a heater box bolt... JimM May 29th, 07, 11:00 AM The harness fastens to the heater box with a removable clip (available repro) The eye that is taped into the harness goes to a bellhousing bolt.
