baz67 Jul 25th, 04, 05:59 PM I am getting ready to weld in the new minitubs and am wondering if I need to spray some weldable primer on all of the bare metal. I know GM did not do this, but while I am there.... Or should I just weld it than seal it? Thanks all. Brian prostreet69camaro Jul 25th, 04, 06:13 PM I just put in some DSE mini tubs and sprayed the edges with weldthru prime then spot welded them together. Then I will seal the joint and epoxy prime it. Codi Jul 26th, 04, 06:46 AM I also used 3M weldthrough primer. I liked it but it does put off some smoke while welding.
