it is new to me and i am trying to fix somethings
1/ how do i remove the headlight switch? need to replace it.
2/ where can i find a muffler and tailpipe for a 250 6 cyl.
3/ i need a column lens transmission indicator for a spd powerglide.

1/ how do i remove the headlight switch? need to replace it.
1) Remove the dash or vent, (which ever is easier). Reach inside the dash, on the bottom of the switch is a spring loaded release button. Push it in (up), and this will release the push/pull knob.. The entire post/knob will come out. Then you can gently unscrew the locking nut (between the knob and dash). I had to replace mine and Checker Auto had the same switch in stock, $12..

2/ where can i find a muffler and tailpipe for a 250 6 cyl.
2) Most local muffler shops, AutoZone, Checker, Napa... or you can buy something fancy like Flowmasters, from www.jegs.com (http://www.jegs.com) or www.summitracing.com (http://www.summitracing.com)

3/ i need a column lens transmission indicator for a spd powerglide.
