This may be the inappropriate forum for this. If so, I apologize in advance.

I can't seem to lay hands on a set of brake light sockets for a 97 z-28. I'd rather just buy a standard replacement part for them, but auto parts retailers don't seem to have anything for the brakes. Tail light, turn signals, all the rest seem to be there, but the bulb socket for the brake lights is a no go.

I'm looking for new, just for warranty and newness's sake, but if I can't find that I suppose a pick a part trip might be in order.

You may have to go to a salvage yard to find them. Plenty of them should be out there. Otherwise the dealer is the next option, but I would go to the yard first.
