I've got a problem with my '69 brakes pulling to the passenger side. I thought it was the left caliper piston sticking but when I pulled the caliper and compressed, the piston then stepped on the brake pedal to push it out. Worked it in and out a few times this way and put back together but the car still pulls to the right when brakes are applied. Rotor rotates easier on left side than on the right after brakes are applied and released. Could left caliper be bad? The car is a trailer queen and gets driven very little. All parts were brand new when restored 10 years ago. Calipers were rebuilt and sleeved with stainless and have always used silicone fluid. Thanks

could be the hose on one side is internally eaten up, and not allowing the pressure to release.
or it could be the guide pins on that caliper are corroded a bit.
pull the caliper off, take the pads out, and put the caliper back on. try to slide the caliper in and out, and if it seizes a bit, clean up the crud and put a bit of lubriplate on the contact points.

If it is pulling to the right, you should look at your brakes on the right side.(passenger side).

Not always. Generally when a car pulls to one side it is more often than not that the hose is collapsed internally on the opposite side not allowing fluid to flow and this causes the car to pull to the side that is working. If the car is 10 years old with dot 5, have you flushed the fluid since dot 5 doesn't mix with water? Any contaminate can cause the brakes to act funny as well.

I'd start with hoses - remember to replace hydraulics in pairs.

Yep, when mine did that, new hoses fixed it.

Thanks, I'm going to replace the hoses. When I bleed the brakes will I have problem with master cyl needing bench bled again after letting front brakes drain completely or just add fluid and bleed fronts normally. Also metering valve should have button depressed, how far does button move. When I press with my finger it moves very little. I'm trying to remember when I bled the brakes years ago if button moved much. Never had any trouble then as brakes bled and worked fine until this pulling problem started. Any suggestions as to how to clamp so button is depressed?

You should not have to bleed the MC. Change the hoses, bleed each wheel & go.
