I have a sb 69 camaro, with aluminum heads and I'm removing the sway bar. My question is do I need to cut (and how much) moroso springs 710-47140 for cars weighing 1690-1750, I dont know my front end weight and want to maintain stock ride height. If anyone has a similar set up and has cut them PLEASE let me know how much to cut, dont want to install, remove cut install, remove cut, you get the picture.

Moroso drag springs should have the car sitting lower than stock height in the front as they are wound from a thinner diameter wire and do not have the same spring rate. They are a lot taller than stock to allow the front end to rise for weight transfer (assumes you have 90/10 or adjustable front shocks).

If you are sitting high, then you have removed a lot more weight off the nose than a set of heads can account for. Also if you just installed them let them sit for a couple of weeks to settle before you start cutting as they will drop a bit.

Thanks Dave,
I noticed this set was allowing for more weight than the other set moroso offers. (got these on ebay cheap) so with that and the aluminum heads and removing the sway bar, I was hoping to get it done right in one shot( I,m paying somebody, hopefully once).
