On my 68 camaro when I shut the wipers off they stop wherever they are when the swicth goes off. I need to keep toggling the swicth to get them to the down postion. Is this normal or should they go to the down postion automatically when the swicth is shut off? If so any ideas of what to trouble shoot? Thanks.

Oh man it's been forever since I played with one of them.
But I remember a cam or a set of contacts, or maybe both.
Inside the wiper motor? maybe on back side?... All I got, sorry. Can't remember how it's supposed to work. I'm sure somebody will come along though.

Yeah, same for me. I never drive in the rain (on purpose). But the wipers should 'park' in the proper position, no matter when you shut them off. There is a mechanism for that purpose. Someone here will know. Keep checking back for detailed info.

You have a poor ground on the motor. Park circuit has an internal cam that gets the ground from the firewall after the switch is turned off.

:hurray: Thanks for the help. I will check the grounds and see if that cures my problems.
