Finally got my car together enough to take it out for a short test spin. When I got back to the house I had this awful bang like noise from the front when I hit a bump. It sounds like something is stuck and then releases making a loud metallic sound. I can reproduce it by bouncing the front end, on the driver's side, but it doesn't happen on each bounce. Its definitely associated with movement of the a-arms. I put a jack under and when I raised it I got the noise; again though, not every time. I have all new bushings, ball joints, etc in the subframe but did that several years ago and the car has not been on the road since, always in the garage. I'm at a loss, can't see anything moving unusually and can't tell exactly where the noise is coming from. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.:confused: :confused: :confused:
