All my wiring seems to be working fine after assembling the car. All that is except the fuel guage. Is there any way to determine if it is the guage or the sending unit without checking resistance while fueling the car. I don't want to fuel the car and then find out it was the sending unit that has to be replaced and have to drop the tank while its full or have to defuel it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I thought I was going to have to change out my sending unit but using this info I learned that my gauge just needed calibrating.
