I have a 1967 and I am just getting ready to start putting it back together but am trying to decide on which susupension package to get. I want it to be a lowered stance somewhere around an inch and a half i think and adjustable enough so its ok on the street and good for track use. I need front and rear sway bars, coil springs, leaf springs and shocks. Any suggestions on makers the Hotchkiss tvs system looks to expensive for what it is and it doesnt come with shocks.

I'd go to pst or energy suspension for bushings. I'd use caltracs for leaf springs. I can't tell you what shocks or coil springs to use thats up to u

Depending on your goals, the Hotchkis TVS is a good deal. The thing about the Hotchkis stuff is the springs are "matched" front to rear and the sway bars are matched to the spring. Depending on your setup a rear sway bar really might not be necessary.
The Hotchkis stuff has decent feedback from users around here.
You might be able to piecemeal a bunch of different parts and pieces together for less $, but how will it perform?
Global West makes great packages, but there stuff is likely higher priced than the Hotchkis stuff.
As for shocks, Bilstein, Koni then the Edelbrock IAS seem to be 1, 2 and 3 as far as favorites around here. KYB are cheap, but STIFF on ride quality.
Use the search feature and spend a lot of time reading old threads. Post back with specific questions and here will chime in with good answers and lot's of real world feedback.
Good luck!

The ATS Chicane LM suspension.
BTW... there is no need for a rear stay-bar on a salisbury axle.

I have Hotchkis 2" drop springs and revalved Bilsteins and would absolutely recommend them. The stance is right on, as well. If you're replacing bushings, solid or delrin-aluminum are the only choice, in my opinion. I think they have more to do with my car's ride than any other component. I've had poly bushings and there's really no comparison. I don't think the price difference is even that noteworthy, either. I would avoid KYB shocks, also. Mine were horrible. Very stiff and noncompliant and made handling awful. The Bilsteins, by contrast, are a dream in ride and handling.
As far as rears go, I can't comment on that, because mine is stock, except for Bilsteins.

Just finishing up my Hotchkis SB TVS kit with the Bilstien shocks and love it. I found the shocks cheaper from http://www.titanmotorsports.com $75/ea when I bought them when everyone else wanted 90+. They also sold me the Hotchkis cross brace for my vert. At the time (9 months ago) they did not sell the TVS kits, you might check and see if they can now. I got mine from Rick's and was under $1000 but they bumped up the prices since then. Titan is mostly import cars. Make sure you have the part numbers. The drop in the back looks good, the front was a little lower then I was expecting but I have 15x7 rallys with 245's all around. I called Hotchkis and they recommended 225's in the front. And when I put the car down for the first time the front tire ended up tucking about 1/2" up in the fender well. They don't rub and I still have to put in a new set of Polygraphite body mounts from PST. I also did the PolyGraphite full front end rebuild kit from PST. I like everything that I have done so far. The solid mounts and bushing would probably be a better choice for racing but that's going on what I have read here. Look at pozzi's page http://www.pozziracing.com/ and threads about the bushings.

1st 67 ss/rs thats my basic set up. I think i might end up going with the Hotchkis TVS but i think i am leaning more toward DSE for the lowering springs and sway bar. I have the PST polygraphite i just actually had the press fit in yesterday.
