I was wondering if any 67/68 Camaro owners are running Hedman's thermal coated Elite full length headers (part HD68278)? If so, are there any issues with the power steering box? I am installing a 350 and would like to use these headers on my car. Thanks:confused:

I put them on my '67 about 1 1/2 years ago (327). Passenger side goes in easily from the top, drivers side, I had to go in from the bottom, a little tricky, but just take your time. I wrapped the tubes with blue painters tape to help incase of scratching. I have about 1/32 clearance on one of the tubes at the steering box, but there hasn't been any issues with it.
Even though the tubes are coated, I get some surface rust on the bends right near the engine. I've used a real fine steel wool then a good coat of wax. Other than the slight surface rust, I'm real happy with them.
