On my first 67 Camaro I re-did the seats, carpets, and dash. Basically everything but the headliner and I finally got around to removing it and low and behold their is some rust on the roof. Before I put new headliner back in with a new pad, does anyone have a process to removing the surface rust??

I would just paint over it with POR-15. Your other option is a wire-wheel, some primer, and then some spray paint. The nice thing is that is doesn't have to look pretty, because no one will see it. The not so nice thing is that your working overhead!
