Hi all i have been looking for quite some time for the correct valve cover to air cleaner hose for my 69 350 SS Manual Camaro . All the big suppliers sell a copy made from steel which requires a hose to join it to the air cleaner and i have seen other hoses which are close with one end larger . But does anyone make the exact correct Rubber hose which is a thick wall ribbed hose some of which had "GM" and a picture of a "square" on it . I am sure many of you have used the later type but if no one does make it , i am going to have it made . 68 impalas also used a similar hose parts number 3923252. Part number for the 69 type is 3942524. Any help would be great as i know others who require this hose and it has baffled me for a long time as to why no one makes this particular hose. Obviously no one knows or cares about this hose except a select few . So i will have it made by the looks and try and sell them when they are done. Cheers James

I had a friend go through his GM dealership's 1970 vintage parts books and it looks like they may have dropped this part for the one used on a standard V8. You would think that the 4bbl (vs 2bbl) air cleaners would need a slightly longer hose but maybe not. Still none available on the market that I am aware of.

I got a nice original one from Camaro Country (269-781-2906) a couple of years ago. Give Jerry a call and see if he has any more. Hope this helps, RonM.
