I purchased a set of C5 brakes ( all 4) from a Corvette and wonder how one can use the rear setup. I hear that C5 on the front is no problem but rear C5s are not suggested. The parking brake is internal to the hub and not sure what the hang up is ....of course I haven't tried to set it up either. Presently I have only the rear callipers and no other hardware. Anyone ever seen or have a diagram of that rear parking brake set up? Any help it appreciated .Thanks:thumbsup:

I am running a rear brake setup from an 02 camaro which basically the same just a different rotor. A lot of guys have had problems with the cable to make the e-brake work........not sure why but it does take some slight fab work to get everything to do right, but I had NO problems running them. Have you got the backing plates with the e-brake parts? If not I have an extra set with the rotors for a camaro if you are interested! The caliper is the same for both.

The Corvette uses three mounting holes and a large bore hole than the LS1/Camaro backing plate. The rotor has 1/2" less offset so you need to add 1/2" of spacer or about .7" total to get it to line up on your axle.
