Okay guys I keep having to send back shock tower panels and trying to convince the parts company that they've made a mistake. The shock tower in question is the drivers side for a '67 Convertible Camaro. supposedly I read somewhere that the 2 sides on the '67 is different. Correct?? graemlins/clonk.gif The parts folks tell I have a different rear end in her, but my body man said no modifications have ever been been made with the exception of a new trunk floor. Could it be since she was built in the middle part of June, could it have used a '68 instead?? Does anyone have a photo of their shock tower on the left hand side? Thanks!

67's are the same right hand to left hand, but mirrored imagages of each other. 68's started the staggered shocks and my 67 is July built and not staggered. Inside the trunk, if you see that the LH shock tower is out from the conv. seat back structure, it's a 68 69 design.

Look to see if the shocks are either both in front of the rear axle (67) or that the RH shock is in front of the axle and the LH shock is rearward of the axle (68,69). Maybe your car is a 68 made into a 67..

A place called 'American Designers' makes a real nice shock tower. I think they were in Kansas.
