Hi guys,1969 Camaro SS...... I have a 1 wire alternator, should it go straight into the wiring harness or into horn relay? What a mess this last guy done.........help :confused: any pics would help..............thanks so much....alan

If you have what I think you have? The wire on back of the alt goes straight to the pos bat. It is a self tickle alt and as soon as it turns x amount of rpm it is charging.

My big wire off the back goes to battery, the one I'm concerned with is the little wire off the side of the alternator to ????

Usually the wire coming off the alt goes to the terminal block located behind the battery. It's a 1 post terminal with sometimes 2-4 wires attached to it.
