I have this pebble grain blue ashtray part # 9799239-F and I don't remember if it came form my old Camaro or Firebird.Both had blue interiors.I see much talk about them being different and the different grains.How can I tell for sure what it is from?

Early 1968 Camaros had a painted ash tray. Later ones had a Woodgrain ashtray and matched the woodgrain in the center of the dash where the heater controls and radio are located.

This is pebble blue vinyl?possibly '69
Does the part # mean anything --9799239-F?
