I did a search and the only pricing I see on these is from last year. Bobs nos for $1,525 and another for 700+ some for 500 etc. I know there is repro parts available now has that affected the prices of originals?

Why do I ask you say.......

Okay, This weekend I was looking for my weatherstriping for my convertable top frame and I found the original wiper motor from my car (in a box marked RS wiper motor and hoses:clonk:). It is a 605 wiper motor with all the hoses and wiring etc.

That brings me to delma #1. about 4 years ago. I bought one off ebay thinking that at the time I did not have my original. The one I bought was not restored and the seller offered to restore it and even furnished the sticker to match the date of my car. He did a great job.

what are they worth?

Restored=$$$
non restored=$$$

Oh yeah, Delma #2. and more important which one do I use on my car?

The 605 prices have dropped considerably from last year. The best we've been able to do on a totally restored unit is the high $500s to about $600. Compare this to the $1000 plus from about 12-18 months ago,and its more in line with reality. An unrestored unit with missing parts,rust etc, can go for as much as $300-$400 provided it works. A restored unit does not bring a great deal more it seems. I do think that 605s were sought out primarily for the washer assembly. Now that yours truly and others supply these, alot of guys opt to convert their existing motors for alot less. The 605's we sell are to purists who must have the correct one-year motor for their 69'.
Here's a pic of one we have currently. Its fully restored.... with one of our headlight washers,(ours our made in the US, unlike the others) a new NOS white top pump,bushings and harness. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b339/belairbobs/605ebay3.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b339/belairbobs/605stamp.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b339/belairbobs/605ebay2.jpg

#1 The introduction of repro headlight squirter solenoids has reduced an original complete "605" unit in a big way.

#2 If you have the same disease I have the original would be going back on the car. :)

Thanks Bob
Your unit looks fantastic.
I have more in the restored unit so it will stay for now. I almost have a 2nd complete RS set up with it.

We must have the same doctor: Oridge N. Ale MD. He practices out of his main office in Nosverses Restoria. It is a suburb of Detriot for those of you that may have similar symptoms. He does have office all over the USA and abroad.

Thanks Team Camaro

Trying to finish the Convertable for my wedding in Sept. Does anyone have some vintage 69 shoes and cans?
