I'm looking at buying the QA 1 R series drag racing pro coil system for my 69 Camaro. Have any of you had any experience with any of the QA 1 coil systems? I'm looking for pro's and con's.

Thanks
Bruce

 Have them on my 70 Pro-Street and lover them just added them to the wifes 69 and made leveling the car easy. I think they are just neat the way you could raise and lower the front. On the track I go with the loose setting and have no issue with traction I am getting the same frontend lift that did with my drag shocks and springs. Now that just me I have a lot of weight up front:thumbsup:

Softail02,
Any problems or tricks to installing them? From what it seems, they should be a basic bolt in assembly, correct?

Nice pro street camaro.

Thanks

Get the bearing kit and coat it with some grease and get a good spanner Wrench

We sell and use a lot of the Coil over conversion set ups in Camaro's, Chevelle's, GTO, etc. they work very well. I also run them in my 69 Camaro Street Racer which gets street driven and drag raced at the track.

The only limitation and most mis conceived idea is that you can lower a car indefinitely with these coil over conversions. It is important to note that a 1 1/2" to 2" drop is as low as one should go. While I have seen 3" drops, this compromises ride and can actually hurt the hardware.
