Does the windlace go over the back panel to hold it in place? If not what holds the back panel in place? Does anyone have a picture of the windlace installed. My camaro did not have it when I bought it. I would like to see where and how to screw it on the door jam.
Thanks

Yes the extra material from the panel folds over the pinchweld and then the windlace slids over it and holds it in place. It does not get screwed on the door jam (at least on a 69). Some windlace have a metal tab on top that will screw behind the window fuzzy. Most of the time it's broke off if it's original. Usually not needed. I'll see if I can find a pic. What year car?

The rear panels are also glued to the metal edge under the windlace.
