Eric Kammerer Jun 4th, 07, 03:03 PM There's a word for the bidders, I believe, that starts with "s", and it is not sucker. jeff_gates Jun 4th, 07, 03:56 PM I tear is going down my cheek... No fire wall, no vin, no paper work... well I guess I also own a "RS SS CAMARO CONVERTIBLE." but you do get a bill of sale. TSTONE Jun 4th, 07, 03:59 PM this was the line i liked - "THE PICTURES DON'T DO THE CAR ANY JUSTICE" L7869 Jun 4th, 07, 05:07 PM another piece of crap, i am truley thinking of selling my cars and finding another hobby. are buyers so hard up??????????????????? Bgonz 69 Jun 4th, 07, 05:18 PM Aint so bad........... I can fix it...:D bob james7773 Jun 4th, 07, 05:47 PM one of the things i found funny was the winnig bidder was as nervous as a cat in china town that he would get outbid. Man....what a hunk of crap. The rear spoiler is a piece of art. Rocketrod Jun 4th, 07, 06:39 PM They did not weld in any braces prior to removing the ENITRE floorpan!! Mark Rossiter Jun 4th, 07, 07:57 PM I'm not sure I understand why so much angst over this thing. Over 50% of it is aftermarket fiberglass, so who cares what happens to it from here? Mr. Super Sport Jun 4th, 07, 08:13 PM Might look cool in the front yard as some Camaro yard art! Heck he's close in driving distance I may go up to see it in person. He states picture do it no justice.:D no69x-44 Jun 4th, 07, 08:21 PM Oh my! That's about all I can say about this puppy. 1969 4me Jun 4th, 07, 09:30 PM hi,i'm new to this site. wow! can that car be put on another camaro floorpan? lets say i find a 1967-1969 hardtop and fixed this convertible to have my dream car? Dustypowers Jun 4th, 07, 09:35 PM can we say junk keypilot Jun 5th, 07, 08:06 AM the guy has a nice lawn. Eric Kammerer Jun 5th, 07, 08:16 AM Dave (1969 4me) - To answer your question, if it was serious, no. A vert has a lot more bracing underneath than a coupe (well, this one doesn't). Most of the metal is reproduced, but it's a lot of work. You'd have a lot less money in a better car by buying one of the "replacement" vert bodies being reproduced. cjm465 Jun 5th, 07, 11:28 AM Flinstones...meet The Flinstones...... oakster Jun 5th, 07, 03:52 PM I can't believe that car car even sit on the guys lawn w/out folding in on itself. He says it has a new top, can you imagine what the shop must have said if/when he brought that thing in for a new top. paulm Jun 5th, 07, 04:49 PM I can't believe anyone even bid on it. RamAirDave Jun 5th, 07, 06:45 PM He says it has a new top, can you imagine what the shop must have said if/when he brought that thing in for a new top. They wouldve really been confused if he had asked them to install a new carpet while they were at it :D DVINNY Jun 5th, 07, 08:03 PM The Car Is Super Trick In Every Way Rodder Jun 5th, 07, 08:13 PM He says it has a new top, can you imagine what the shop must have said if/when he brought that thing in for a new top. Pretty sure the convertible top is acting as a structural member right now... the whole shell will probably collapse into a pile if you flip the top latches. paulm Jun 5th, 07, 09:12 PM You know, that auction gives me an idea! I'll just stack up all of my extra parts in the shape of a camaro and the bidders will go nuts! james7773 Jun 6th, 07, 12:38 PM Screw it...Im biddin. Gonna have me a vert baby! :hurray: choptop Jun 8th, 07, 05:00 AM Yikes, somebody messed up on that one. Scrap metal now. Daytona Yellow 69 Z/28 Jun 9th, 07, 08:43 PM It's not so bad. I think that would make a nice Super Gas/Comp tube chassis race car. With every thing gone I'm sure they never intended to put back on the street. 68SSCamaroinKS Jun 9th, 07, 09:07 PM How in the hell would you transport that thing? |
