Hello,

I have ordered a few things here and there from some of the well known first gen parts dealers. But what I havnt found is someone that I can really trust and that can really answer my questions. Someone that really knows original parts and cars. I own a very original 69 Z28 and will be needing to order some remanufactured parts and some NOS parts. Are there trustworthy vendors out there that sell both?

I need to order some as close to factory leaf springs that I can find. I will also need some spiral shocks. But I want to order these parts from someone that can truly help me with my purchase.

Also, where do you go to get the dates stamped on these spiral shocks?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!
:beers:

Jake at D&R is good people, as is Brad.

If you're looking for a smaller outfit to deal with, someone who can and will give very personal service, talk to Brian at cpucarparts.com.

if it is all original. bring your car who does springs in cars.he will re arc them or put a extra spring in there so as to get your ride height back to original.

No, one of the few things that are not original on this car. Jerry M. did an evaluation on the car last week. He said I needed nicer ones so I am taking his word for it. The last owner replaced the original leaf's back in 05 with some real cheapy ones.

Anyone know the answer to my second question?
Where do you go to get the dates stamped on these new spiral shocks?

Thanks!!!

We get some of ours dated for vettes. When I get to work in the morning I'll find out who does them. I know we do some stuff ourselves, but I don't think that is one of them.
