Have asked this question on another site with no luck, but here goes.
I would like to check my 69 wiper motor out of the car on the bench. Which pins do I apply 12 volts to and which do I ground to check the operation  . I do not want to use the switch or car wiring. I hope by the process of elimination I can find the problem of not working

Thanks in advance

Peter, here is the diagram. A quick search is very helpful to get answers that have previously been asked. Luck! This works much better with the switch. use an ohm meter to make sure switch is good.

Thanks Kevin. Can you test without the switch. Say apply the 12 volts to the Y pin and earth the LB and B pin ??

Sorry for being a pain

I did try it without the switch, the motor turned, but strangely. There is someway the circuit goes through the switch to get the correct resistance for the 2 speeds. just hooking it up to power doesnt test it properly. find a spare switch.

Have now wired the wiper motor so only works when 12 volt is applied. Never liked the idea of being "hot" all the time. Works a treat :)
