I need to remove my boot molding because of some surface rust and paint peeling. It look's like you lift the outside of the molding up,and push the molding in toward's the boot.I just want to know so I don't ruin the molding.Any advice would be appreciated.

On my 67 conv there are 4 screws.
The two at the very ends of the molding are easy to see.
The two on the underside of the 90 degree bends are difficult to see. Then there should be 6 or 8 clips that will come loose when you pull the strips forward toward the front of the car.

I did find the screw's you where talking about.Apparently when GM put these car's together they weren't thinking about having to take them apart for repair's.I found the front 2 screw's tucked under the window felt at the quarter window's(HIDDEN).The other 2 where in the corner's on the boot side,up underneath the trim (HIDDEN).Thank's bonecrusher for your help.
