I installed a flaming river rack & pinion steering. Not power...should I have got a power one?

As long as you don't have to parallel park, you'll be fine. Always make sure you try to have the car rolling, even if it is less than 1 mph, to aid in turning.

You've got power steering-"armstrong" power steering. One less thing to go wrong. Cleaner engine bay. Power steering is for girls (that one should get me in trouble-IT'S A JOKE). When will you ever want to parrallel park? How much of a man are you? All kidding aside, it is all a choice of personal preference! You did not screw up.

I put a manual unisteer kit in my car and in retrospec, I should have gone power....I do love the rack set up though, the steering is much more firm with no slack like the old gear box had.
