Hi everyone,
I hate do this... but other financial obligations and time will not allow me to finish what would have been my dream car, so I am going to be selling a nice driver that needs lots of TLC.
As you can see, it's a plain jane 69 convertible with PS, PB, A/C, Power top, and automatic with the shifter on the column. It's all original, except the starter, water pump, top, and a few other items. It has 110K on a 307 that burns some oil, but runs good. The choke seems not to work right until it warms up a minute or two. It has a few patches of bondo in the quarters, and has some rust, but not anything major (that I have found). The trunk floor has no holes in it, but it is rusted. Also the passenger side front and rear pans were rusting (the back has two small holes) and were repaired with fiberglass. The top is going to need replacing as it has a few holes from dry rot. The car has been sitting for near ten years, but is a decent driver. Everything works except the headlights regular beams are out, however the brights work fine, as do the running lights. It just needs work, but is road worthy, while someone does restoration work on it. also the A/C belt was removed some time ago, so I don't know if the compressor still works. I was told it ran fine, but needed freon.
I am taking it to our local car show this weekend and I am wondering what would be a fair price. Any comments would be appreciated...
Thanks, and again, this is a great site!
Greg
