I Have a 68 10 bolt diff and it is only a 1.6 ratio!!!! How is this possible?? And YES it is a 1.6 But I'll be damned if I know how?

BillK Feb 4th, 00, 02:12 PM Bob, There is no such animal. If you want to verify it, take the cover off and count the number of teeth on the ring gear and the pinion. You have an open diff and need to rotate the wheels two times while counting how many times the driveshaft turns. Look at the other post.
