I'm reading that the Power Tour is coming back to Wisconsin next year at
http://forums.hotrod.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=253755&page=0&fpart=1&vc=1&nt=2
Is it true?
I was able to complete the first two legs of the route and then I had to jump off and drive home from Racine.
If it is actually coming back to Wisconsin next year, I'm gonna be a long hauler!

How about starting in Charlotte and ending in Houston?

Not thrilled with the choice, it's been going back and forth back there for several years. However it's nice up there so I am planning on going.
Now as far as Little Rock................... worst venue on the Tour this year IMO. Nothing against the town, met some great people. But the fairgrounds has a huge problem handling the traffic into the event, and it took 1-2 hours to get in. Plus they let the same thing happen two days in a row, didn't learn from the first time. And you do not want to be stuck in the neighborhood you're in waiting in line.
I've heard they're looking at an optional site in Little Rock for the start next year, and I'm all for it.

We might just have to hop on the tour next year, friends in Omaha can put us up overnight and store the Camaro in their garage :) Jody, you buy the first round of O'Douls ;)

I love it here in Arkansas but I sure as heck don't envy anyone waiting around in the "hood". Now I wonder why I did not go to the Fair Grounds..........been in that raffic jam before!! Little Rock is a great place it's to bad they decided to highlight it's worst area? I just don't get it? The Mc cain mall area or Sherwood area is nice but all the construction makes it hard to get around.
I say close down the River Market and Clinton Library....(porno mobil home on stilts) and leave from there next year. Or come to Hot Springs and leave from the horse track, now there's an option!! Great to meet you, Bill and Charley. Had great time, and it 's been fun pullin Charleys leg a little on the witch!! Send a PM if you ever make it into the sticks again.

We did 4 stops this year and plan on long hauling next year. The wait in LR was pretty bad. Those hills were also a challenge while waiting in line...you could smell clutches burning big time.
