I just bought a crate 400 bored to 406. It has forged keith black internals, eldlebroc air gap intake, holley 700cfm double pumper carb. My question is can I use the distributor that is in the 350 that is currently in the car now. If not, which one? Thanks.

The distributor will work just as well in the 406 as it did in your 350.

Check to make sure your distributor gear and cam will not tear each other up.
Roller cams require special dist gears....

Thanks Doug. That is what I needed to know. Now all I need is to get the car back from the paint and body shop to install the new engine and get the trans rebuilt.

As stated above... need to know what core the cams on for the gear but otherwise a drop in.

Not a problem. I will call the builder of the engine. I took pictures of the engine before I bought the engine. He looked at them and said everything will hook up with out any problems.
