Had the day off work and since it was nice and sunny out I decided to take the Camaro out.. While sitting in San Diego traffic I started thinking that I have not adjusted the insurance value on the camaro for the last 9 years (since it was painted). Currently have the insurance value set at only $10K and would greatly appreciate your input on what I should adjust the value to.
Thanks for you time,

Also, the engine in the car is the original 327.

like hereitis67 my car is not drivable.but I have 10k coverage on it now.My insurance co. that insures everything I have also writes classic car insurance...lucky me,cause I get 10k per year coverage get this 240.00/year,how bout that. But,my agent, whos a car guy too, has also informed me that all values over 10k coverage are accessed by an appraiser. So as soon as its drivable, which by then it will well exceed 10k in value I have to have it appraised as I complete new phases an it continues to become more valuable...lucky me

I have a $30k agreed value through Hagerty. These cars are expensive. I couldn't build mine again for $30k. A good paint job is $7-10k. You can't buy a car for under $10k, $10k in drivetrain is cheap now a days, interior, suspension, wheels, tires brakes.... don't remind me.

I'd say low/mid 20's "agreed" value...might be a bit high. JMO
