Gentlemen,
Will doors from a 68 firebird coupe, fit a 67 camaro convertable? Will all the hardware swap over and bolt up, vent windows/door glass etc.

Uhm, I think you are going to have a major problem getting the vent windows from a '67 to work on a '68 door. Why in the world would you want to attempt this?

No, they are internally different, the vent windows being the big setback in doing this. You shouldnt have any problems finding 67 doors, personally.

Sorry , but I don't think the 68 doors will fit. The bolt pattern on the hinges is different, the 68 does not have a wing vent and the top inside lip of the door is shaped different. I am going to use 67 firebird doors on my 67 camaro coupe as well as the dash and instrument cluster. Good Luck

WHY!

Thanks for the replies. First let me answer the why? Well I need a set of doors for the vert and I saw a set of 68 bird doors on ebay, real clean, close to my house and thought if they were completely interchangeable maybe Id toss in a few bids. I quickly found out there not so interchangeable. If I find a clean used set from a 67 coupe they should be the same for the convertable correct? Any suggestions where to start looking, Im willing to spend the money for a clean set.
Thanks

Look on the Team camaro For Sale pages seems I remember seeing a pair of 67 doors there with all the hardware in them still.
