Hello all!!!

I was considering bringing my 69' down to Carlisle to try and sell it. Iv'e heard mixed opinions about selling cars and parts at Carlisle. What's the truth?

Lots of people say everyone thinks their car is worth six figures and want way too much.

My question is what should I ask for my car down there? Is it worth more there? less? or does everyone think their cars are worth more there?

I really want to get rid of the car and feel this would be the optimal place to do so.

Anyways, here it is....I actually posted a forum here not too long ago. I have better pictures now so I think I may get a better response.

-X-77 Car
-Built 350 with a turbo 400
-Runs EXCELLENT
-Power steering
-Power Disc Brakes
-New rims and tires
-Paint (8-10)
-Mechanics (8.5-10)

It cant hurt to take it to the show and see what you it may bring, i go to Carlisle several times a year and from what Ive seen most cars are usually priced high and don't sell.
It all depends what you need to get out of it.
There is money there, you just need to find the right buyer.

The auctions at Carlisle can also be a good place to sell the car. As I recall, the fees are not quite as outrageous as some, and an auction can ususally bring higher dollars than selling it outright....
