I just picked up a new project car. As I am from the northeast it requires some rust repair. I would like to hear from someone that has used these advertised "OER" replacement full quarter panels...How is the fit, quality etc...or....should I pay some ridiculous price for originals...this car is just a base sport coupe...so concours restoration is not a concern.I just don't want to deal with some nonfitting flimsy piece of tin...Thanx...

I'm currently fitting one of the full oer qtr panels to my 69 Z28. While it isn't as thick as the original, the fit is pretty decent...any panel is going to require some fitting, as I am sure you know, but it isn't bad. I would have preferred a nos panel, but the prices they are going for is ridiculous. If you have anymore questions about it, email me and I will try to answer them.

Click on my sig. for some pictures of my '68 with the OER quarters.
As stated above they were not perfect but for my non-concours car they fit the bill.
Torker just got his car back from paint prison and had these installed as well. The car turned out really nice.
