Hello all,

I intend on researching more, but I figured Id try to see if anyone has an immediate idea:

ZZ4, Msd6A, 670 street avenger, stock HEI dist. Today it started to stumble and stall. I had to start it like 30 times and brake pedal / gas pedal it to keep it running, but it would stall anyway after about 10-20 seconds. It restarts no problem, but stalls after the same amount of time.

The msd box felt hot to the touch, is that normal? I added a hood insulation kit this morning, which comes within a few inches of the msd box (mounted on fender). The engine never gets over 180 degrees even in my 100 degree heat, due to a tiwn fan system. Any ideas?

What symptoms of a MSD box being too hot? Im gonna check the float bowls today.

Update:

The front fuel bowl was practically empty, th erear one was full... I took the needle and seat out and it seemed clean. The gas filters also seemed good. The fule bowl moved well. i tapped it a few times and fuel began to fill to the sight glass. It ran fine after that.

I bought a new Holley inline fuel pressure gauge and it reads steady at about 4.5 pounds and when I keep it revved, it goes almost to zero... Is the fuel pump bad?
