What is a good general purpose spray gun? I am going to use it for both automotive and home use. I saw a Deveilbiss (I think that was the name)for $169.00. Is this a good manufacturer?

Go to autobodystore.com...this is an awesome site for paint info. Get on the message board and ask this question, there are a lot of pros on that board that will be able to tell you what is best for your application.

I recently purchased a Divilbis Finishline HVLP gravity feed gun from Len at the Autobodystore site for $159 delivered to my door. That price is not shown in thier on- line store but there is an 800 number you can call to get that price.

Anyway, the gun works fine and it comes with 2 tips and a few cup liners which make it possible to paint with the gun upside down if needed and it makes clean up a snap.

Compared to the $125 NAPA gun I had been using there is no comparison. I set the gun pressure at the recommended 25psi and turned the paint flow valve out about 3 1/2 turns and I was painting like a pro.

Would that gun work with por15? I want to do the under body and haven't been around body work in 15 years.
And can anyone tell me how much por15 I might need to spray the bottom and inside floors of a Camaro? Also the frame.
Thanks,Matt

Well, I'm sure it would work with the POR but I think its to nice a gun for that. I'd use an el cheapo gun for that stuff.
