Guys,

Just measured u-joint c/l -c/l for powerglide to 12 bolt driveshaft. With the slip yoke pulled out aprox 1" the measurement is 50.5"

I pulled out my old turbo 400 shaft and the u-joint c/l to c/l measurement is also 50.5".

How can the powerglide and turbo 400 have the same shaft length? (Big Block car)?

For the forums record - my 69 big block car, powerglide with poly trans mount and a 12 bolt rear = a 50.5" driveshaft length from centre to centre of u-joints. (front yoke pulled out 1")
