I am putting a 502 in my 67 and have the m-21 4 spd. How will it hold up? What about m-22 conversion?

Slicks and high rpm launches, you're on borrowed time. oger Jun 28th, 07, 05:30 PM Really doubt the M-22 will last much longer. If it doesn't hook don't worry about it. pdq67 Jun 29th, 07, 06:02 PM I have NO way of knowing if my gut feeling is right or not, but I go by this!! M-20 = about 425 T; M-21 = about 450 T; M-22 = about 500 T; and the new "bells and whistles" Autogear w/ the Supercase, Italian gear set and steel mid plate M-22 = about 600 T or just a a schosh higher... And I do have to think that both the old Ford cast-iron Top-Loader/RUG and the old MOPAR A833 are stronger than our M-22, but not by much!! As always, jmho.. You need a better stick than this and you'd better be looking at a G-Force or whatever it is?? pdq67 |
