Is there a nice reproduction out for the 1968 non-RS rocker panel moldings? I've not heard much good about the ones that have been available so far. Also, what about wheel opening moldings? Thanks

I want to see where this goes also. My car had them originally and I want a pair, just not junk. The sets on ebay go for hundreds sold as NOS and I'm not sure it's worth putting NOS on for that price unless your car is concours.

TClovis is definitely right about the NOS. When they're available, the stainless moldings sell for hundreds. But the quality is literally second to none if they are truly NOS. The best aftermarket aluminum ones are made by Corvex, and sell for around $50 for the pair. Shipping is expensive, but these things are seven feet long, so that's normal. The same is true for the wheel well moldings, I guess. Either you pay hundreds for the NOS stainless ones, or about $75 for a set of aftermarket.

Check these out. For the money, they can't be beat.

That place is pretty reasonable on their prices. I might have to try those rockers for that amount. If they don't workout, at least it didn't run five bills.

Also, what about wheel opening moldings? Thanks NOS wheel well moldings are listed on EBay all the time. They don't seem to be as pricey (relatively speaking) as the rocker spears.

Factory rocker and wheel moldings were stainless? I bought NOS and they are anodized aluminum.

I have NOS and they are aluminum. I also have some old original wheel well openings, and they too, are aluminum.
