There is a valve that sticks up at the rear of the block (next to the distributor hole).

I'm not sure if it's a vacuum access or a PVC access? It looks like it accepts a 1/2" tube (similar to PVC).

I looked in my manuals and can't find anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a 65" 327.

Thanks

Steve

That's correct. The oil sending tube is a very thin copper tube with a thread on it to thr right of it?

What do I put on the Road Draft Tube??? Can I put the PVC tube on it from the valve covers???

Also, is the oil sending unit where I would connect the oil guage from the console?

Here are 2 pics of the oil sending unit. One is mechancial and the other electric. Are you running a stock console oil gauge? If yes then you need the correct fitting for the block side and gauge side. You don't want that coming off in your car, but overclamping the fitting will be just as bad.

Yup, that's it, THANKS. But on my block I have a much larger tube DIRECTLY next to the oil sending unit. It looks like a PVC or Vacuum access?

Road draft tube can use stock stuff to go up to the base of either the front or maybe the rear of the carb.

My Q-Jet had it right in the middle of the carb's baseplate!!
