Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping someone here can help. My next door neighbor has owned a 68 ss for over 20 years. It was his first car. He is the 3rd owner. The car was origianally a big block car. For years he has been trying to find out if this emblem on the dash is original to the car and what it means. We have looked in every Camaro book we could find with no luck. It is about 1/2 inch wide and about 6 inches long with 15 different countries flags.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is "original", I have one just like that - on my Oldsmobile ... :D
They are from the front fender(s) of the Cutlass Ciera series vehicles.
Looks sorta :cool: in that area on a non-air dash.
Camaro's were sold all over the world afterall :thumbsup:

I second Vintage 68's thoughts. I remember seeing these on late 80's to early 90's Oldsmobile Cutlass' with the international series option. Don't remember what the option got you other than the cool fender tag as shown in the pic.

Bottom Line... not original to the Camaro, original to the Olds Cutlass.

If there is a hidden reason, it's usually just that the Camaro's end up running longer than the Oldsmobiles ;)
Mine is a royal b1tch to keep running and smogged from year to year ...

Oh BTW - mine really is/was my father's Oldsmobile :D
