I have an 87 Camaro with a 305 engine that's carburated. Would I be able to install an Edelbrock 350 crate engine from an 84 Camaro?

all the accessories will bolt right up...the motors are very similar, with the 87 being a 1 piece rear main and the 84 a 2 piece rear main...the 87 will have center bolt valve covers as opposed to the perimeter bolts on the 84...also, the 87 might be a roller motor, and the 84 prolly isnt...that would be my only concern...use the 84 dist in the 84 motor just to be safe...other than that, you should be good to go...post back with any other questions...this site is packed with very knowledgable guys...

flywheels are different flange

the 1 pc rear seal will have a weight on the flywheel

84 350 won't

forgot bout the flywheel...great point tim...either way, you can use the 84 flywheel or flexplate with 87 components though...that is, unless the 84 was auto and 87 is standard, or vice-versa...

yup, all the stuff goes right in ther.

It's a fun conversion 305 to 350... makes you feel like you're getting away with something:)
