I have a 10 bolt rear end that I pulled from my 69 Camaro which had an original 6 cyl motor. It is in great shape and would like to know how much that would be worth. Thanks.

View Full Version : How much would a 10 bolt from 69 be worth? drphibes Jul 3rd, 07, 11:23 AM I have a 10 bolt rear end that I pulled from my 69 Camaro which had an original 6 cyl motor. It is in great shape and would like to know how much that would be worth. Thanks. Robert BERRY251 Jul 3rd, 07, 11:50 AM Whatever someone is willing to pay for it? bearcat44 Jul 3rd, 07, 11:58 AM Exactly right. It really mostly depends upon a few criteria. Whats the gear ratio? Is it a posi? Have the brakes been redone? These will all increase the value. I just sold my 3.08 posi unit for 75.00. Basically if someone needs I'd tell them around this figure. DOUG G Jul 3rd, 07, 02:06 PM Local yard asks $100 for open and $150 for posi's.... gears are a non issue to them. BPOS Jul 3rd, 07, 02:21 PM I sawzalled mine and set it out on the curb. JimM Jul 3rd, 07, 02:22 PM mine's still under the bench... big gear head Jul 3rd, 07, 09:27 PM There is almost no demand for the 8.2 10 bolt rear end, unles it has a posi and a desirable gear ratio. oger Jul 3rd, 07, 11:51 PM Just took 3 to the metal scrap yard. If the axles are good you might save them but the rest is not worth anything. bearcat44 Jul 4th, 07, 07:41 AM No demand so prices are rock bottom. And that is a great thing for those not looking to go over 400 horse on the street. You can get a decent rearend up and running for next to nothing. And if you break it who cares? Something to think about ProdigyCustoms Jul 4th, 07, 02:02 PM My scrap guy does not charge me to haul them away. Now if it is a posi, a few hundred bucks |
