I was going to take the rear end out today with the leaf springs attached as one complete unit, some of the bolts came loose from the front of the springs and some just turn like the nut came loose inside the unibody frame, the back shackels bolts I cannot even get loose.
What is the procedure for this and how much trouble am I getting myself in?
This is on a 68 Camaro and I am taking it out because I am in the process of resoring it.

Do a search under J-nut and you see a ton of threads on how and what is going on in the front. The back is pretty straight forward. Try spraying some penetrating fluid on the nuts on the rear shackels. Some guys prefer to leave the leafs in place and just remove the diff. I usually leave the front connected, support the diff on a floor jack and then remove the U-clamps or t-bolts, whatever you have holding it on, then remove the rear shackel and drop only the rear of the leafs and roll the diff out on the floor jack.

I had some trouble on my '68 as well. I ended up cutting the heads off the bolts in the front. I think I was able to get 1 on each side out the others broke the clips. The back came out easily, except for the rubber bushings, which required a bit of force and some stern language - LOL!!
