I have a 68 camaro rs/ss for a project. I have already started tear down of all cancer and there is allot.

I want to start from Bad (back) to worse (front).

Everything needs to be replaced except the roof.
Do you start at the frame rails and go up and forward?
or is the trunk pan a good place?

Also is there a book that would tell you the order of assembly?

Thank you
Dan

This is the order I have done my 69 after the subframe and rear end has been removed. I didn't need to replace the rear panel, cowl, firewall, or roof.
1. Rear panel, 2. Frame rail, 3. Shock towers, 4. Rear window to trunk metal, 5. Fire wall, 6. Cowl, 7. Outer rocker, 8. Inner rocker, 9. Floor pans, 10. Trunk pan.

I don't know about any books right off, seeing that I have done it just by looking at it. By the way I had to fabricate my own shock towers, you can't buy shock towers as far as I know only the thin sheetmetal over it.

Thank you.

I got a one piece trunk pan from dynacorn has the rear shock towers as OEM. with all mounting brackets attached.

Rear panel? AKA tail pan?

So it would be easier to do the framerail second to the tail pan. I have every thing new from dynacorn. but the frame rails. I have a doner car I could remove part's from if needed.
